As this pandemic GRINDS ON there are a lot of Walkersville residents who are working from home. Some of us have great ergonomic home office setups, and some of us are at the kitchen table. No matter your situation you are probably spending more time than ever at your computer or laptop.

Time spent gripping that mouse and staring at that screen take their toll on the human body. Despite all the advances in technology we have enjoyed over the past few decades we are all still locked to our computers for 8 or more hours every day, and there’s no real way to use a computer without hurting your body. It’s just not possible. Sitting at a computer just isn’t comfortable for any extended length of time.
One of the worst consequences of this computer posture is a burning ache inside the right shoulder blade, along the inside border of your scapula. Unfortunately, if untreated this can advance into very intense neck pain, headaches, or numbness and pain traveling down the arm into the hand.
